Dog Parks

Fishbridge - Dover Street (Under the NYC entrance to the Brooklyn Bridge) 10038

Fishbridge is by far our favorite dog park in the neighborhood. It is cared for by the humans who visit. There is running water to clean up messes and even a baby pool in the summer months. It’s also only a few blocks from the Seaport District.

Sirius Dog Run (Battery Park City) - 385 South End Avenue, NY, NY 10280

Sirius definitely has the best view of all the dog parks. It overlooks the marina. Sirius also has a water fountain and small pool in the summer months. It is also kept very clean. The cleaning crew usually comes M-F 11-12n.

Little West Dog Run (Battery Park City) - 70 Little W. Street NY, NY 10280

I love this dog park because there is a separate area for small dogs. It is also on the edge of Battery Park so you can also take a stroll to Brookfield Place or go up and down the Battery Park Promenade. This dog run is also very clean. The cleaning crew usually comes M-F 11am-12N.

Vets

Worth Street Vet – 77 Worth Street, NY, NY 10013

www.worthstreetvet.com

I’m a little partial but Worth Street Vet is hands down my favorite vet in the vicinity. Dr. DiPolo, the owner was partially responsible for saving my first Frenchie’s life, Bebop. The staff are so loving and caring and they have state of the art equipment. You can even make an appointment with a vet tech for nail cutting and/or ear cleaning (our Spokesdog Tristan needs that a lot).

Seaport Animal Hospital - 80 Beekman Street, NY, NY 10038
212-374-0650

They are located behind the 55 Fulton Market on Fulton Street. Seaport Animal Hospital is also a very good vet. They have very caring and loving staff who pay wonderful attention to your fur-fam.

Battery Park Veterinary Hospital - 21 South End Avenue, NY, NY 10280

BPVH is one of the top vets in BPC. They have a beautiful state of the art location with friendly staff.

Emergency Vet

Blue Pearl - 410 West 55th Street, NY, NY 10019
www.bluepearlvet.com

The worst feeling is when a member of your furry family is sick and its after hours at the vet. Blue Pearl Midtown is one of the best pet emergency care units in New York City. Sadly, I’ve been there multiple times and while it is a little expensive, they took amazing care of my fur-fam and kept me updated and put my mind at ease.

I have to be honest, even though I have over 30 years’ experience with dogs and cats, I need help when I added Tristan to my family. Travis and Tasha are SO professional and helped me through all the stages of a stubborn French Bulldog puppy. They have also helped many of my clients with their fur-fam from potty training to leash training to basic and advanced commands. SO thankful for these guys!
